Jerusalem the name of the holiest city has in it the word shalem since it encompasses the holy reality of G-d; a reality of brotherly love and unity within and without. The energy of the city of Jerusalem awakens the spirit to fully connect with our higher purpose. The Hebrew word for city is eer spelled with the letters ayin and reish that make up the word ehr, to be awake. Our greatest potential lies within however if we are not spiritually awake to notice and nurture it, it will remain dormant. Jerusalem holds a special energy that enables us to wake up to peace, an inner peace.
