The Rambam learns that the obligation of hachnasat kallah is d’Rabbanan but nevertheless a kiyum of the mitzvah min haTorah of ‘ve’ahavta lere’echa’. The mitzvah of hachnasat kallah (together with levayat hamet) has a rare and special status – we even cancel Talmud Torah to ensure that the simcha is done properly.
Orit Esther Riter has always shared her love of Torah and Emuna and provided strength to countless number of people in need of a supportive ear, all without the mention of money. The friends of Orit are asking her talmidot to help the Riter family marry off their son, Netanel Raphael in Adar B’.
