The original emuna magnet was given to me by my Mother who lived in Bergen County, NJ. When I saw it I felt it was Divine providence that brought it to me being that I am the author of the on-line daily articles ‘The Daily Dose of Emuna.’
I felt so attached by its message, “Emuna, it is all from Hashem” that I decided to replicate it and use it to post the Daily Dose of Emuna website. Taking it one step further we hired someone to duplicate it and paste it onto the back of our car in order to carry the message to as many people as possible. By the way, I can’t tell you how many people have told me that just as they felt they were pushed into a tight space they spotted the car sign and felt that Hashem was talking to them; consoling them.
One day as my husband was parking the car a man approached him and said “Where do you get the message of emuna from?” After my husband told him how, he said that it was his father-in-law who lived in Teaneck, NJ who decided to advertise the message on his own by printing the magnets and handing them out for free. He is buried in the same town as we live, Beit Shemesh, Israel. The message of emuna is on his matzeiva.
Hashgacha pratis, Divine providence certainly guides our lives every moment. This is but one story which proves it. May the message behind the magnet serve as a zechut l’iluy neshmat Chaim Feigenbaum zt’l.
